Search Underway For TB Patient

Tulsa Police are looking for a Tulsa man desperately in need of a medical check-up.

A judge ordered Clarence Chaplin to report to the Tulsa County jail for quarantine.

The Tulsa City-County Health Department considers Chaplin a public health risk.  Health officials say Chaplin has allegedly ignored orders from the state and local health departments to be quarantined to treat tuberculosis.

The disease is treatable, but can be deadly without treatment.  TB is also highly contagious.
