A Tulsa restaurant owner fires his gun at two teens as they allegedly tried to rob him late Tuesday evening.

Tulsa Police say the owner of "Ralph's Fish 'N Burger Shack" at 1801 N. Lewis was armed and ready when two robbery suspects entered his business Tuesday evening.

Police say two teens had hid outside until the restaurant closed.  An employee was going out the front door at 8:30 p.m., when the two suspects approached the employee.  One of the suspects forced the worker to the ground, while the other teen went inside the restaurant.

Police say that is when the owner grabbed his gun and fired two shots.

One of the suspects, a 14-year-old boy was hit once in the lower back.  He was taken to a Tulsa hospital.  There is no word on his condition.  The second teen, who is 16-years-old, fled on foot, dropping his gun.

Police officers say the restaurant owner is cooperating, but didn't have a real good description of the robbers.

"He's appears to be a little shaken up, but relatively calm, I think, considering the circumstances," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Virgil Litterell.

The second teen showed up later at a Tulsa hospital with a wound to his upper back.

Police say both suspect's guns were recovered at the scene.
