It's another new beginning for Habitat for Humanity. Saturday marks Habitat's 172nd house and it also marks the fourth house built between the partnership of Habitat and the Lutheran community.
Tammy Cowans will be the new owner of the home, which is located on the 2600 block of North Columbia in Tulsa.
The executive director of Habitat tells The News On 6, Cowans has put in 450 hours of sweat equity.
"If you see her you'll notice she does know how to hammer and use a level and all the things that go into homebuilding," said Gary Casteel, Executive Director.
The volunteers expect to have the home finished in nine weeks.
