Police say a Tulsa man is lucky to be alive after two men attacked him with a machete.  Now, police need help to get those men off the streets.  News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports the two men forced their way into the victim's condo around 8:45 p.m. on March 2nd.  He lives in the 3100 block of East 91st Place.

One suspect threw a dumbbell at the victim, but, missed.  The victim grabbed his gun, but, they took it away from him and beat him and stabbed him with a machete.

"They tied the victim up, they said they had been sent there from out of town to kill him," said TPD Officer Leland Ashley.

The men stole several items, including prescription drugs from the man's condo and left.  The victim got loose and went to a neighbor's place for help, leaving behind a trail of bloody footprints.

"Victim's hurt real bad and was transported to the hospital. He's recovering but he could've died," said Officer Ashley.

The suspects are described a black male and a white male who had his hair in a Mohawk.  Both were in their mid 20's.

Police want to find them before they target any other victims.
