Skull Found In Creek County

The skull was found on Friday and is currently in the Tulsa Medical Examiner's office waiting to be identified.

Human remains were found in Creek County and investigators want to know if it's Cori Baker. The sex of the skeletal remains has not been determined, but detectives say it's definitely someone younger than 25-years-old.

On Friday, an employee found the skull while doing a final walk through during closing at a paintball facility near the Creek Turnpike and South 49th West Avenue in Creek County.

The News On 6's Dan Bewley reports investigators say the remains have no identifying features, such as clothing or birthmarks. But detectives are trying to get in touch with Cori Baker's dentist to help with the identification.

It was near a pile of tree limbs where the employee made a disturbing find, a human skull, no other bones and no clothes. The wooded area sits several hundred feet back from South 49th West Avenue on property owned by Paintball Adventures.

The owner of the facility says the area where the bones were found is not part of a paintball course and it has been undisturbed for at least two years.

Investigators are trying to determine the identity of the bones. All they know for certain is, it's someone younger than 25-years-old.

One person they're taking a look at is Cori Baker. The Tulsa teenager has been missing since November.

Hundreds of people have searched across the city for the 13-year-old; from along the Arkansas River to South Tulsa to Broken Arrow.

Marquis Bullock has been charged with her murder.

There is a connection between Bullock and the paintball facility. The owner of Paintball Adventures declined to go on camera but tells The News On 6, Bullock was there the month before Cori disappeared. Bullock played paintball during a birthday for his girlfriend, Cori's older sister.

Detectives aren't commenting on the find and Cori's father says he wants to wait until a definitive ID before he comments.

Just this week, a judge ordered Marquis Bullock to stand trial for murder in connection with Cori's disappearance.
