Auto-Pedestrian Injury Overnight

A woman is hospitalized in an auto-pedestrian accident overnight.

The accident happened in the 3800 block of North Lewis at around 2 a.m.  Tulsa Police say a woman was a passenger in a car when it ran out of gas. She tried to flag down help and stepped in front of another vehicle. 

Police say the woman is hospitalized and she could lose her leg or a foot. 

The driver who hit the woman was not ticketed.
