Tulsa's Thursday Crime Update

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department were called to a stabbing at Hillcrest on Thursday around 3 a.m.

Stabbing
Officers with the Tulsa Police Department were called to a stabbing at Hillcrest on Thursday around 3 a.m. Police say the victim had three stab wounds: one in the shoulder, one in the chest and one in the back.

The victim refused to cooperate stating only the crime took place in the area of 3900 North Elgin Avenue.

The victims injuries were not life threatening.

Robbery
Officers were dispatched to Heatherstone apartments around 5:12 on Thursday morning in reference to a robbery that had just occurred.

The victim drove up to the mailbox to check his mail, when he was approached by the suspect.

The suspect came up from behind the victim with a gun. He demanded the victim's wallet and car keys. The victim complied with the demands. The suspect then fled the scene.
