President Issues Disaster Declaration

President Bush declares Green Country a disaster zone.  He has approved a disaster declaration for 23 counties after this spring's nasty storms.  FEMA estimates April's severe weather caused $22 million in damage across the state.

The federal money will reimburse first responders and pay for infrastructure repairs.
