A Tulsa man is hospitalized after suffering a diabetic seizure while driving and a man is arrested while police investigate a suspicious car fire.

The accident happened shortly after midnight at about Pine and Sheridan.

Tulsa Police say the driver hit a trash can and then went into a yard where he hit a front porch and snapped the gas meter.  The pickup truck came to rest after hitting a carport next door.

The man was trying to move the vehicle when police officers arrived.

EMSA took the man to a Tulsa hospital.  No one in either home was hurt.

And in an unrelated incident, arson is to blame for a car fire overnight.

Tulsa firefighters were called to the Summerset Apartments at 2200 S. 137th East Avenue at around 1:15 a.m.

Fire officials say someone poured gas onto the vehicle and lit it.

As Tulsa Police arrived, officers investigated some broken glass in a nearby apartment.  There they found a man asleep on the floor.

The man was arrested on a public drunk complaint.

The investigation into the car fire continues.
