On the wild western streets of Frontier City, outlaws have been slinging guns since 1958 as the lawmen try to keep the peace.
Jim Rollins was one of the original employees at the theme park. He often played on the good and bad side of the law.
"I just loved cowboys," Rollins said. "I was doing those falls when I was 12 and 14 years old, and I would take cardboard boxes and dive over them and hit and fall and roll and dive over them forward and roll and come up with my gun, and I was shooting and doing back flips over those things."
His gun fighting style and stunts throughout the years made spectators go wild.
"They get to get the feeling of being in the old west," he said. "They get to learn what they see on TV."
The 50 year anniversary celebration is this Saturday at Frontier City, starting at 10 a.m.
