Driver Slams Vehicle Into Trees

A man is recovering on Sunday morning after slamming his car into a couple of trees overnight. Officers with The Tulsa Police Department say the man was driving northbound in the 5700 block of Riverside when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into two trees in the center median.

The vehicle went across the median and came to a stop in the southbound lanes. Traffic was closed while fire crews cleared the road.

After the accident, police say the driver complained of having some back pain.

The accident is under investigation.
