12 Year Old Acts Quickly After Fire

The soon-to-be seventh grader called 911 on Saturday after noticing his neighbor's house was on fire.

A Tulsa 12-year-old may have a future as a firefighter. The soon-to-be seventh grader called 911 on Saturday after noticing his neighbor's house was on fire near 27th & Joplin.

Gage West says he was playing in his backyard at the time.

"I went in to get the phone and I came out and saw like a bomb that went off, but a small one," said West. "It kinda looked like uh, kinda looked like hell."

Firefighters say the fire started in the electrical box and then moved into the attic. No one was hurt.
