There's a new football league for kids in Green Country. Organizers held a football camp at Cooper Elementary on Saturday. This is tackle football for second through sixth graders.

The Salvation Army's Boy and Girls Club sponsors the league. Organizers say it's a pro-style league, but it's also kid friendly so everyone gets a chance to play.

"I want them to learn life skills, and share different experiences not only as friends and comrades, but to learn the game of football accurately so that if they want to proceed on in life on a different level, they'll be able to have the skills to do so," said Sam Berry of the Youth Football Association of Oklahoma.

You can get more information about the new football league at your local Boys and Girls Club.
