An overnight traffic accident sends two people to a Tulsa hospital.
Tulsa Police officers were called to the 12300 block of East 41st Street shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Two pickup trucks hit each other head-on when one driver crosses the center line. Both drivers were hurt but police say their injuries were not life threatening.
Police officers say alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
And the Oklahoma Highway Patrol also worked a traffic accident overnight when a semi truck driver jack-knifed his rig at I-44 and 129th East Avenue.
The driver was pulling two trailers at an off-ramp when his rear brakes failed. With cars in front of the semi, the driver took evasive action which caused him to jack-knife.
The ramp was shut down until it was straightened out.
