An Oklahoma legislator wants to pay drivers to ditch gasoline.

Representative Joe Dorman wants tax breaks for Oklahomans who drive cars powered by alternative fuels.  Dorman says drivers would make the switch to compressed natural gas or hydrogen-power if they could afford it.

Dorman's legislation would also provide financial incentives for gas stations to offer alternative fuels.
