Day At The Lake Turns Deadly

Kimbery Perryman, 48, from Haskell drowned while swimming at Lake Tenkiller at Tenkiller Harbor boat ramp in Cherokee County. Perryman was swimming with her sister at a boat ramp.

Officers say she began to struggle when she swam out to a buoy. Her sister was able to get her to the shore and perform CPR.

Perryman was pronounced dead at the hospital.
