Police ID Bank Robbery Suspect

Tulsa Police have identified a suspect who they say robbed a Tulsa bank on Monday.

Detectives say 32-year-old Derrick Jefferson handed the teller of the Arvest Bank on West Edison a note Monday morning.  It said he had a gun and he wanted money.  The teller gave him the cash and Jefferson left.

Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker says  the investigation indicates Jefferson is the same man who hit the Bank of America at 7800 E. Admiral and the Arvest Branch inside Wal-Mart at 81^st and Lewis in June.

Anyone with information about Derrick Jefferson is asked to call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
