New Rules Approved For Big Splash

More oversight is on the way for safety at Big Splash Water Park.  The Tulsa County Fair Board approved a plan on Tuesday to track violations at Big Splash.

The body amended the park's lease to say the board must receive a copy of any notice of violation at the water park within one business day.  The board says Big Splash must comply with any rules, regulation, set by any government agency.

The new regulation comes after Big Splash failed to repair weak beams the Oklahoma Department of Labor found during an inspection.  Those beams have since been repaired and the slides are open.
