Management Shift At Gilcrease Museum

Tuesday proves a historic day for Tulsa's Gilcrease Museum.  The University of Tulsa officially takes over management of the museum and its world renowned collection of Western and Native American art.

The day is being celebrated with a number of special events, including the opening of the 101 Ranch exhibition which is a collection of memorabilia and artifacts from the famed Oklahoma ranch and its Wild West show.

The museum will also start charging for admission.  However, the City of Tulsa retains ownership of Gilcrease's multi-million dollar collection.
