Motorcyclist Recovering From Crash

A motorcycle rider is recovering on Saturday after he was rear-ended on the highway. Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say an Oldsmobile plowed into Virgil Smith, after he slowed for traffic conditions.

Smith was thrown more than half the length of a football field. Smith was taken to the hospital with major injuries.

The driver of the Oldsmobile drove off before officers arrived.
