One Person Hurt In House Fire

One person suffered minor burns escaping from a house fire Tuesday morning.

Tulsa Fire officials say a resident of the home in the 400 block of South 37th West Avenue awoke to smoke and fled the home.

EMSA treated the victim for minor burns.

At this point, Tulsa Fire officials say the cause of the blaze is most likely smoking materials. 

Damage to the home is estimated to be at least $30,000.
