An injured construction worker at the Cherokee Nation Casino Resort in Catoosa was taken to a hospital Thursday morning.
Cherokee Nation officials say the worker suffered a two story fall. He reportedly fell from the 16th to the 14th floor of a hotel that is under construction. Officials say the worker was wearing a hard hat at the time of the accident.
The unidentified worker was flown by a medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital where he was treated for cuts and bruises then released.
The Cherokee Nation is building the 19-story hotel as part of a $125 million expansion of the casino and resort.
