Rocklahoma was rocked by the storms Saturday night. The fierce weather blew through Pryor around 6:30 and damaged two stages at the music festival. The News On 6's Dan Bewley reports the Mayes County Sheriff says it was quite a scene when the storm, with 65-mile an hour winds, made its appearance at Rocklahoma.

Two stages collapsed during the event. The stages are 60 feet by 60 feet and had metal frames. Both are side stages, to the north and south of the main stage and no one was performing at the time.

The sheriff says he's aware of only one injury, a broken arm. He says as the storm approached they raised red flags to warn of what was to come.

The band performing on the main stage stopped playing and the crowd of 30,000 plus began to go for cover.

They were concerned that some people may have used the stages to protect themselves from the weather, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

The sheriff says they were very lucky that no one was seriously hurt.

"Lot of damage to a lot of band equipment and some pretty expensive equipment got damaged. But as far as actual injuries, getting away with just a broken arm is pretty minor," said Sheriff Cantey.

The main stage was not damaged during the storm and the sheriff says it'll be open and ready for Sunday. He's not as positive about the side stages.
