There is a major achievement on Monday for one of Tulsa's Vision 2025 projects. Morton Comprehensive Health Services announced it has received accreditation by The Joint Commission, the nation's top standards-setting body in health care.
Workers say it took about a year's worth of study and improving clinic procedures to reach this important goal.
"It benefits us so much in terms of image, in terms of respect, nationally and within our own corporate health care here in town. It gives our patients a sense of security," said Robert Sanders, CEO Morton Comprehensive Health.
Morton Comprehensive Health Services' goal is to give quality healthcare to families in need.
