The man who used to run Expo Square is suing his former bosses. Rick Bjorklund filed a federal lawsuit on Tuesday, claiming breach of contract and defamation.
The Tulsa County Fair Board fired Bjorklund three weeks ago, after learning a rent check from Big Splash had gone uncashed, and that Big Splash had not paid last year's rent.
The suit claims the board violated Bjorklund's rights and that County Commissioner Randi Miller defamed him.
