Shooting Suspect Sought

Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect who shot a teen in the back of the head late Thursday night.

Police say they got a call from a Tulsa hospital early Friday morning about a juvenile female shooting victim. The victim told police she was walking home at about 11:15 p.m. in the area of 1500 N. Marion, when she was approached by an unknown male. After talking with the suspect, the victim left and says the suspect then hit her in the back of the head.

After being transported to a Tulsa hospital, emergency personal determined the juvenile had been shot in the back of the head.

The victim is currently in critical condition.

Police say the suspect is described as a male, between 5-foot-9 to 6 feet tall.
