Pet Euthanized Following Attack

Another child has been attacked by a family pet, but this time, she is expected to recover.

Eleven-month-old Leesa Gray was taken to Muskogee Regional Medical Center Wednesday night after she was attacked by a pit bull terrier.

Her mother told Muskogee Police, Leesa was sitting next to a bed when the dog suddenly attacked.

Leesa has multiple severe punctures to the head and face, but police say her wounds are not considered life-threatening.

City officials say the dog has been euthanized.
