Coburn Discusses Presidential Race

Senator Tom Coburn spoke out on Tuesday at a town hall meeting in Bethany, about his pick for president.  He also fielded questions and defended his positions on a number of issues including the deficit, medical research, healthcare and energy.

While Coburn, a Republican, supports John McCain, he is actually critical of both candidates, especially Democrat Barack Obama.

"He has never done a payroll in his life.  He has never had a private salary in his life that wasn't associated with some government agency or tax.  He lacks experience to know what is possible.  John McCain is not great in that role, but at least he gets it," said Senator Tom Coburn.
