Soldier Home And Ready For Sooners

An Oklahoma soldier is back for 18 days of R and R.  There were hugs and smiles aplenty as Specialist Ray Aprill stepped off his plane at Tulsa International Airport on Monday evening.

Aprill was hard to miss in his military fatigues and so was his family.  They were all decked out in matching welcome home T-shirts.

The die-hard Sooner fan says he has his weekend plans already figured out.

"I'm going to the OU game.  Gonna see some friends at OU and OSU.  That's about it and spend time with family," said Spc. Ray Aprill.

Aprill serves with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hood, Texas.
