Dine Out And Save Money

With the cost of gas, groceries and other everyday expenses creeping up, many people don't have the luxury of going out to eat very often. And when you do, you don't want to spend a bundle.

"You work hard. You want to save as much money as you can," said Tulsa resident, Kyle Psomas.

Psomas goes out to eat almost everyday and budgets every dollar he spends.

"How much on gas and how much on food and what I have to pay my bills with; pay them off on time and my rent and all that," said Psomas.

Now, at least when it comes to food, Kyle can save. There's a new website called Send Me My Deal$. It features dozens of Tulsa restaurants and the discounts they offer.

"We're providing a way that people can stretch their dollars and still be able to do what they want to do without having to sacrifice being able to go out to eat," said Melanie Hiatt, the website's co-founder.

When you sign up and create a profile, you can choose which kinds of food you like. Then, you'll get an e-mail or text message with exclusive restaurant offers only given to members. Special restaurant discounts are also categorized by day of week and kid's and birthday deals. The best part, it's free!

"Anytime you see a special or kids eat free, we're probably there," said Tulsa mom, Julie Werner.

"Even when times are a little tight, I think most of us like to go out and still be able to eat out and have fun and do special things with our families," said Hiatt.
