Local Red Cross To Help Hurricane Victims

TULSA, OK -- More members of Tulsa's Red Cross are on their way to Florida to help with Hurricane Ike. Seven members of the Tulsa Chapter packed up on Saturday and headed to the airport. Four others drove off Friday in two Emergency Response Vehicles.

"It's very gratifying to be able to go. You do see people that are impacted and you're able to help them right now, immediately give them some assistance," said Lee Corbett of the Tulsa Chapter Red Cross.

Lee expects to be in Florida for three weeks.
