University of Oklahoma President David Boren says the school's Norman campus will be completely powered by wind by 2013.

The school will purchase the wind-generated power from OG&E, which is building a new commercial-scale wind farm near Woodward in northwestern Oklahoma.

Boren says the school also plans to expand its use of vehicles powered by compressed natural gas, or CNG, and will open a CNG refueling station on campus in November.
