Ike's Chili: A Tulsa Tradition For 100 Years
Ike's Chili on East Admiral Place marked 100 years in business on Friday.
Among those helping celebrate was Senator Jim Inhofe. He says he's been a regular customer of Ike's for years.
"I've had my monthly fix at Ike's, every month since 1942," said Senator Jim Inhofe.
The senator was actually supposed be in Oklahoma City on Friday for a visit from President Bush, but changed his plans.
"I'm sure the president will be fine without me over there in Oklahoma City, and I've chosen to make this 100th celebration," said Senator Jim Inhofe.
Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor also showed up to enjoy some cake and, of course, chili in honor of Ike's.
