Young Cancer Patients Meet Pistol Pete

TULSA, OK -- A big moment for young Cowboy fans at Saint Francis Children's Hospital on Tuesday.  The men's basketball team and Pistol Pete visited oncology patients, signing autographs, T-shirts, and signs.    

They say it was a rewarding and humbling experience.

"Today's a day to think about somebody else besides yourself.  And, you know, some of these kids and coaches and everybody can get so caught up in what we have today and how tough things can be, but today's all about the children here and maybe making their day a little bit better," said OSU Coach Travis Ford.

The visit comes in conjunction with the OSU Coaches Versus Cancer Campaign, an American Cancer Society fundraising event.
