TULSA, OK -- What could you do with a thousand pounds of butter? You could butter biscuits for an army, or create a sculpture for the Tulsa State Fair.

For the 10th year, Sharon BuMann has carved out something creative from hundreds of pounds of pure butter.  This year's fair theme is "We're on a Roll", combine that and the rodeo, and you've got an idea for this year's sculpture.

"On my way up, I stopped in Fort Worth and did some first-hand research.  I talked with some rodeo clowns and watched them play with the bulls and barrels and that sort of thing.  It was fun," said BuMann.

Sharon says she'll put in about 85 hours inside the refrigerated case when she's finished. The temperature inside is 37 degrees, so she wears lots of layers.

The butter sculpture is in the creative arts area on the lower level of the QuikTrip Center.
