If you're looking for a nice day in the country right here in the city, head out to Pumpkin Town at 81st and Mingo.
"This is our tenth year with Pumpkin Town. We are basically a family-oriented business. You can spend money here, but you don't have to. It doesn't cost anything to come, take pictures," said owner Melissa Basse.
While the parents are snapping photos, the kids can hunt for the perfect pumpkin. Besides pumpkin hunting, there is a hayride, face painting, a huge slide and even pony rides. And, there's always the pumpkins, lots and lots of pumpkins.
"Pumpkin Town is mostly my favorite because it has all kinds of pumpkins in all different shapes.," said Rebecca Hammett. "My favorite part of all is that I got to play."
Pumpkin Town is open daily through October 31st.
