TULSA, OK -- Part of a Tulsa highway had to be shut down for over an hour late Sunday night due to a fatal traffic accident.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the eastbound and westbound on-ramps to U.S. Highway-75 from the Broken Arrow Expressway near downtown Tulsa were closed due to the single vehicle accident.
OHP troopers say the driver of a car was going too fast on the off-ramp and lost control causing the vehicle to flip.
Rodney Jones, 51, died at the scene from a head injury.
No one else was hurt in the accident.
