TULSA, OK -- Current and former AT&T workers are helping fill children's bellies.  They donated $5,000 to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma on Friday.

The money will help expand the food bank's backpack program.  Every Friday, nearly 2,000 elementary school kids in the Tulsa-area get a backpack filled with food for the weekend.  And, it's making a big difference.

"They're showing better test results.  They're able to pay attention more in school and their behavior is improving," said Carol Foley with the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

The Community Food Bank says the $5,000 will provide backpacks full of food for about 33 kids for an entire school year.
