TUKON, Okla. -- A Yukon family is still looking for their loved one after he went missing nearly a month ago.

Bill Wallace was last seen September 18, following a business meeting in Indianola.

Since his disappearance, there has been no sign of the 65-year-old or his car, and each lead followed so far has gone cold.

"Not knowing what's happened to your loved one is the hardest thing I think anybody could go through," Bill Wallace's wife Kathy Wallace said.

For 23 years, Kathy Wallace has shared her life with her husband. The sudden void left by his disappearance is now a month old.

"The longer this goes on, the harder it is and the more likely that he's not on this earth, but with God," Kathy Wallace said.

Kathy said she feels stuck between the reality in her mind and the hope in her heart.

"Are we supposed to be thinking about a funeral or a memorial," Kathy Wallace said. "Are we supposed to be trying to hope he's alive and go on with the future plans we have?"

Civilian search teams and law enforcement are still trying to answer the questions. They've searched more than 200 square miles in Indianola, but have come up empty.

"No one has heard from him," said Jessica Brown of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. "No sightings of him or his vehicle, so that's frustrating because we have nothing to go on."

In the man's place are now dozens of cards from friends that offer his wife some comfort who hopes the public can help her get closure.

"One of our grandsons got on the phone and said he wanted to go work for OSBI so he could go find Papa," Kathy Wallace said.

Hunters are being asked to be on the lookout while in the woods and investigators plan to search bodies of water by sonar.

A search fund has been opened in Bill Wallace's name. If you would like to help, just go to any First Fidelity Bank.

He was last seen driving a 2002 Black Pontiac Sunfire. It has a crack in the windshield on the driver's side and an Oklahoma tag 155-NBC.

Anyone with information is asked to contact OSBI or the Pittsburgh County Sheriff's Office.
