OKLAHOMA CITY -- Areas of Oklahoma were hit by earthquakes Tuesday, according to Amy Gibson of the Oklahoma Geological Survey.
Around Jones and Harrah, Gibson reported nine earthquakes hit, beginning at 1 a.m. and continuing throughout the day, with the last one occurring around 2 p.m.
Harrah resident James Haney said he heard his animals throughout the night.
"The ducks and every dog around here was raising cain," Haney said. "I got up and looked around and couldn't see nothing."
The state agency has fielded no reports from community members concerning damage or intensity of the quakes, but anyone who has experienced the tremors can submit a report.
The gathered information from the reports help the agency determine the location of specific earthquakes.
