TULSA, OK -- Police say a pedestrian crossing a busy Tulsa street was at fault after being struck by a car.
Police say a car was traveling west on 71st when a man walking northbound on Mingo walked into the intersection. The driver attempted to swerve to avoid the pedestrian, but police officers say the man was still clipped by the car's side view mirror.
Police say the car had the green light and the pedestrian was attempting to cross on a red light.
The man was taken to a Tulsa hospital with a possible broken leg.
The accident happened just before 6 a.m. Wednesday.
