Victim In KKK Death Identified

Authorities have identified the Oklahoma victim of a homicide, who was found in Sun, Louisiana this week.

LOUISIANA --  The St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Peter Galvan has confirmed the identification of an Oklahoma homicide victim found in Sun, Louisiana.  

Authorities announced Wednesdsay afternoon, the victim has been identified as Cynthia C. Lynch, 43, of Tulsa. 

Officials say positive identification was accomplished with the help of immediate family members along with forensic findings and past medical records.  

Lynch allegedly traveled from Tulsa to take part in a Ku Klux Klan initiation. She was shot to death when she tried to leave the ritual.  

The faction's leader, 44-year-old Raymond Foster was booked into jail on a complaint of second-degree murder.

Seven others, Shane Foster, 20; Random Hines, 27; Danielle Jones, 23; Frank Stafford, 21; Alicia M. Watkins, 23; Timothy Michael Watkins, 30; and Andrew Yates, 20, were booked into jail on complaints of obstruction of justice for burning the victim's belongings and trying to clean up the crime scene.

St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, is located about 60 miles north of New Orleans.
