TULSA, OK -- For the second night in a row, shots rang out in a North Tulsa neighborhood. It happened just before 11:00 Tuesday night in the 2500 block of North Boston Avenue.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple shots fired. They said the shooting suspect drove a red Jeep Cherokee.

An officer with the Tulsa Police Department positioned himself on Highway 75 near Peoria Avenue. Police say the officer saw the suspect vehicle entering Highway 75 southbound from Peoria Avenue.

Another unit arrived at the scene and tried to stop the Cherokee. Police say the suspect sped away and a pursuit began.

At one point, police say the passenger of the Cherokee fired two shots at one of the officers.
The chase continued east on the Broken Arrow Expressway, the westbound on I-44. Near I-44 and Harvard Avenue, police used stop sticks and deflated both front tires of the suspect vehicle.

Police say the suspects exited at Lewis and then ran away.

Police set up a perimeter, but neither suspect was located
