River Park Rebuild Not Forgotten

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa River Parks wants people to know that they haven't forgotten to rebuild one section of the trail.

Several sections of the trail have either been rebuilt or are close to being completed.

But River Parks will delay rebuilding the section south of 48th Street, until it knows exactly how ODOT is going to rebuild I-44 in the coming years.

Rebuilding the trail may even be incorporated into the I-44 work.

But the board says it doesn't make sense to rebuild that section of trail now, only to have it ripped out for highway construction.
