TULSA, OK -- Christmas came early for some young patients at the Children's Hospital at Saint Francis.

"Some of our employees have had their children or grandchildren treated at this hospital and this is a way for us to give back," said Susan Bickert of Kimberly-Clark.

Employees from Kimberly-Clark in Jenks collected more than 300 toys for the children.
On Wednesday, along with help from Santa and his elves, some of the Kimberly-Clark employees handed them out.

"It's amazing this is the blessing that you get and I'm sure that these parents are happy to have their blessings, but it has got to be tough as a family to be here," said Corrine Colvin.

Elijah Colvin's mother Corrine was happy for the generous showing of Christmas spirit. She says Elijah is a miracle child, surviving premature birth and many difficulties.

"He's a very special, blessed little boy. He's been here a few times with some breathing difficulties. Then, he had to have his tonsils and adenoids out, but he's growing happy and is as happy as can be," said Colvin.

Kids got to sit on Santa's lap and share Christmas wishes with him.

Santa also went room-to-room, making sure each child had a chance to see him.

There were lots of smiles and hugs, not only from the kids, but from the Kimberly-Clark employees, too.

The employees also hosted Christmas parties on five floors of the hospital for the children and their families.

"Kimberly-Clark is an amazing company. Their employees are so dedicated to families. It's a family-oriented company and they definitely have proven it, especially with things like today," said Colvin."

"It feels absolutely great, very heartwarming," said Bickert.
