TULSA, OK -- Fire officials say a meth lab is likely to blame for a house fire in Tulsa. It happened Wednesday afternoon. A neighbor called 911 to report smoke coming from the top of the house in the 4300 block of West 56th Place.
Firefighters found flames in the attic and signs of a fire downstairs. They say they also found evidence of a working meth lab.
"It's a very dangerous situation for us because anytime you have someone trying to do chemistry in their home and make something illegal, it's very, very unsafe for our personnel," said Tulsa Fire Captain Michael Baker.
No one was in the home at the time and no one was hurt. So far, no one's been arrested.
