No White Christmas In Oklahoma

Posted: Updated:

Associated Press

Oklahomans dreaming of a white Christmas will be disappointed by this year's forecast.

The National Weather Service said Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s with temperatures too warm to bring any snow. Rain showers are possible Thursday night in eastern Oklahoma, while west-central portions of the state could receive light drizzle. Low temperatures are expected to range from the mid-30s in the Panhandle to the mid-50s in far southeastern Oklahoma.

Even warmer conditions are expected Friday as highs reach into the upper 60s to low 70s, with a chance for rain across much of the state.

More rain is possible Saturday as highs range from the low 40s in the Panhandle to the low 60s in the southeast.

Sunday is to be cooler but clear, with highs in the 50s.
