Broken Arrow Soldier Remembered At Memorial

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- A memorial service was held Friday for a Broken Arrow soldier, killed in Iraq.

U.S. Army Specialist Stephen Zapasnik and two other soldiers were killed Christmas Eve when the humvee they were in rolled over.

He was scheduled to return home on leave January 15.

Services were Friday morning at Centennial Middle School in Broken Arrow.

Zapasnik will be buried with full military honors next week at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
