Tulsa Gains New Firefighters

TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Fire Department has 26 new firefighters.  Cadets graduated from the Tulsa Fire Academy on Friday afternoon after 22 weeks of training in basic fire fighting, emergency medicine, and hazardous materials.

They'll continue to train with veteran firefighters at five different companies around the city.  Two Broken Arrow cadets and a Stillwater cadet also graduated from academy.
