Driver Crashes SUV Into Tulsa Creek

TULSA, OK - A man is recovering from injuries he suffered after crashing his SUV into a Tulsa creek. It happened shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday in the 3200 block of South Riverside.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say the driver lost control and drove off the road and into a creek.

Firefighters with the Tulsa Fire Department were able to rescue the driver. He was taken to an area hospital.

It took crews more than 2 hours to remove the wrecked vehicle form the creek.
